During my time at SCAD, I worked on many student films. One of them was "The Spectrum Survival Guide" directed by Brooke Murphy and Catherine Lovello where I helped as the Production Manager. The film was about two preteen siblings who are both on the autism spectrum getting separated at a party. The film's main goal was to bring more autism awareness and acceptance. [Film to be released in 2027!]
Assisting the Production
I came onto the project when they were just starting production. The directors needed someone to make sure that the crew stayed on task, organize assets, update the production tracker, and help update the production book. One of the first things I did when I came on was to make a calendar for everyone with all of the important due dates. I would send weekly announcements and progress checks in the Discord for all of the animators to remind them of deadlines (usually a few days before it was due).

What Did I Learn?
This project was the first time that I had ever truly gotten a solid idea and experience of what the animation pipeline was like. It gave me the building blocks to further expand my knowledge about production management for animation as well as develop my skills in time management, coordination, and teamwork. I was also able to further familiarize myself with Google Sheets and Canva.

What Did I Learn?
From my experience so far with the Good Looks Crew, the most valuable thing I've learned is that it truly takes a collaborative effort in order to make a project. We have a total of three production managers and we all do our own specific tasks. Working with them, the creators, and leads is so much fun and I feel so honored to be a part of it! I'm also excited to have more experience with different tasks like hiring and running a social media page. I never would have had the opportunity to branch out to that before. I'm eager to find out what's in store next for me with the Good Looks Crew!
